The Gujarat government has implemented many schemes to encourage the economically weaker sections of the state towards self-employment. One such important scheme is the Manav Kalyan Yojana. This scheme has been specially designed for those people who want to increase their income and the government wants those involved in small businesses and artisanal businesses to become self-reliant through this scheme.

Under the Manav Kalyan Yojana, the Gujarat government has launched this scheme to provide the beneficiaries with the necessary tools (Toolkit) for such businesses. The direct benefit of which will be of help to the economically weaker sections. With the help of these tools, the beneficiaries can start their own business or can further advance the existing business in a better way.
The Manav Kalyan Yojana is a department run by the Gujarat government, whose name is Commissioner, Cottage and Village Industries, and it is managed by the office of this department. The main objective of this scheme is to provide self-employment to the poor and middle class people.

Eligibility :
- The applicant should be a permanent resident of the state of Gujarat.
- The age of the applicant should be between 18 years and 60 years.
- The annual income of the family should be as per the limit fixed by the government.
- The applicant should be interested in the relevant profession or should be already associated with that profession.

- Go to e-Kutir Portal.
- Register.
